Team Symphony Color Levels is our new innovative and comprehensive teaching program. Each Color Level is designed to educate the Student in Horse Care and the beautiful sport of Dressage. 

 Each Color Level has…
* Book Smart: Covers Anatomy of the Horse to Basic Veterinary Care.                                     
* Tack Smart: Covers tacking up, to show preparation, and trailer loading.
Ride Smart: Trains First Time riders to Training Level Dressage. 

Tuition 
 $50 per session, Student receives a color-coded wristband the first day and a DVD of their Team Symphony Experience at Graduation!
  ** Sign up for two sessions per week and get 10% off ! 


Symphony Horsemanship 
Color Levels

All Levels will have a Testing to Advance to the next Color Level.

Students will be given a color- coded Wristband to show their current level of training.

Green    Ribbon       Level 6
Book Smart- Student learns basic Anatomy of the horse and parts of the saddle and bridle. 

Tack Smart- Student learns how to brush the horse, pick the debris from the hooves, saddle and bridle the horse. After riding the student learns how to care for the horse after work, making sure that the horse is comfortable and cooled down from the ride.

Ride Smart- Student learns to control the horse at the halt, walk, and trot. Student learns to mount and dismount, also standing emergency dismount. 



Pink    Ribbon      Level 5
Book Smart-  Student learns Colors and Breeds of horses, and basic care of horses.

Tack Smart- Student learns to care for the horse’s coat, hooves, wounds, etc. Tack up the horse with protective boots. After riding Student learns to bathe the horse properly.

Ride Smart- Student learns to ride the horse at the halt, walk, and trot. Student learns to ride other horses to achieve a wider range of skills. Student learns an emergency dismount at the walk. 




White   Ribbon    Level 4  
Book Smart-  Student learns common health problems for horses, different disciplines of riding, feeding and the importance of a clean environment for the horse. 

Tack Smart- Student learns how to correctly apply protective leg wraps for riding and groom and prepare a horse for a show. 

Ride Smart-  Student learns the principles of Dressage, progresses to riding at the canter. Student learns an Introductory Dressage Test.  



Yellow   Ribbon    Level 3
Book Smart- Student learns about common lameness problems and how to bandage injured hooves and legs. Student learns more about nutrition for horses.

Tack Smart- Student learns how to prepare and load the horse safely into the trailer.

Ride Smart- Student will learn and perform a Training Level Dressage Test. Student may begin jumping if he/she wishes.



Red     Ribbon   Level 2
Book Smart- Student learns the History of the horse and influential horsemen throughout the ages. Student learns more veterinary care of the horse. 

Tack Smart-  Student will prepare the horse for a show, bathe, braid and trailer loading.

Ride Smart-  Student will prepare the horse for a Dressage Test of Choice. Warm-up and Ride the Test for a Judge.




Blue     Ribbon   Level 1

The Blue Ribbon Level is reserved for graduates of this program. 

Reaching this level means that the Student is ready for horse ownership or leasing.

A Blue Level graduate is ready to continue their education in the Discipline of their choice.

Blue Level Students are encouraged to wear their wristbands as a symbol to others of their achievements!
